After going viral nearly a decade ago, indie horror hit Five Nights At Freddy’s will brings its animatronic atrocities to the big screen. Blumhouse has confirmed the franchise’s motion picture debut will be released October 27 both in theaters and streaming on Peacock.

The film will follow a lone security guard tasked with watching over Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a Chuck-E.-Cheese-style restaurant featuring massive animatronic animals, a plot which echoes the premise of the original. The franchise’s creator, Scott Cawthon, is co-writing the movie adaptation, with Seth Cuddeback (Kelp) and the film’s director Emma Tammi (The Wind) listed as co-writers.
